The Richland Kennel Club and Walla Walla Kennel Club would like to extend a BIG "THANK YOU" to every member and non-member that helped put on our shows this year. Everyone who helped with the grounds, parking, hospitality, ring stewarding, health clinics, Fast CAT, working the club table selling catalogs, raffle tickets, shirts, catalog ads, flowers, banners, shuffling judges as needed, setup/take down all did a fantastic job. Thank you to the exhibitors, BaRay, and of course Randy Roberts. Randy, you will be missed by so many but it sounds like you have a skilled person ready to fill your shoes. The Clubs have received both in person and online glowing remarks about our show, thank you for the kind words.
We also want to give a shout out to the City of Kennewick Parks and Recreation staff who work really hard at keeping the park looking nice, they do a fantastic job watering, mowing, picking up branches, taking care of the wasps, and bringing in the garbage cans/containers, bathrooms, and get little recognition, so "Thank you" to Mark at the City and please tell your crew the same.
Thank you RKC President, Mark Eby, and Show Chair, Stacey Davis, for leading the pack. It isn't an easy job doing what you do and you are dedicated and very much appreciated.
2022 Christmas Party
Mark your calendar for December 1, 2022 at 6:30pm, Pasco Grange, 6300 W. Court Street. The Christmas Committee Chair is Cindi McInturf and her email is knock_knock_31@yahoo.com. Please free free to email Cindi if you would like to be on the committee to help with donations mentioned in the November newsletter and/or planning this event.
RKC is a big supporter of the Toys for Tots and Benton-Franklin Humane Society. Please bring an unwrapped toy(s) for a child and/or a donation for the Humane Society to the Christmas party. All donations will be collected and delivered by the Club to the respective organizations. The Humane Society can use food, towels, litter, toys, blankets, collars, and crates. If you would like to give a cash donation please contact to Cindi.
We ask those of you that will be joining the festivities on December 1 to bring a side dish for passing. The Club will provide the ham, utensils, water, cups, and napkins. In addition to bringing a side dish, I would also suggest brushing up on holiday trivia and holiday songs. Valerie Brown kicked booty last year and took away almost every prize offered. So come hungry, bring your game face and be ready for holiday fun!
