Being a member of the Richland Kennel Club
Since 1944, the Richland Kennel Club has been bringing together people who share a passion for dogs, responsible dog ownership, and community service. As the 28th club ever sanctioned by the American Kennel Club, we are proud of our rich history and the legacy we've built throughout the Tri-Cities. For more than 80 years, our members have promoted education, sportsmanship, and the many activities that strengthen the bond between people and their dogs.
Whether you compete in dog sports, are interested in learning something new, or simply enjoy being around fellow dog lovers, you'll find a welcoming community at the Richland Kennel Club. Membership Process
Process for joining the Club:
- Fill out the application form
- Attend your first general meeting (information below)
- After receipt of application it will be read at the next general meeting
- The application then moves to the Board to accept/reject
- If approved by the Board, the application goes back to the next general meeting for a secret vote where it must receive 3/4 affirmative votes of members in good standing present to elect the applicant.
Once the application is elected, the new member will receive a Welcome Packet and an invoice to pay for first year dues.
